What is the mode of the Conference? The conference will be conducted in an entirely Online mode.
Where will the papers presented during the Conference be submitted? The papers have to be submitted on the provided google form link, which shall be sent on the e-mail by the centre.
When do the Participant(s) have to pay the registration fees ? The registration fees will only be required to pay only after the Abstract has been selected on the given registartion link for google shared with the selected participants.
What is the duration of each presentation slot during the Conference? A maximum of 10 minutes per paper shall be provided for every participant(s) presenting in the Conference.
Whether the registration fees have to be paid individually by each author? Yes, each author will be required to pay the registration fees and separately fill out the google form link provided.
Is it compulsory for both the co-authors to be present during the presentation? The Certificate of Presentation shall be provided only to the presenting authors. If one author is missing, the Certificate of Participation shall be issued to that specific participant, however no Certificate of Presentation will be issued to the other.
Where will the papers presented in the conference be published? The centre would be informing about the publication only after the conlcusion of the conference. In case, the centre decides not to publish the papers, the copyright shall remain with the authors/co-authors.
What is the publication fee for the publication of paper? The selected papers will be published free of cost.
Is there a refund policy if the participant is unable to submit the Abstract after registration for the Conference? No, there is no refund after the registration of the Participant(s) for the Conference is completed. Aditionally, no fee waivers shall be provided to any participant.
Will certificates be provided to all participants? Certificates will be provided to all the participant(s) who have presented their paper(s) in the Conference. Those individuals who do not present the paper but attend the Conference shall be entitled to Certificates of Participation.
What is the policy on plagiarism? The University follows a stringent policy regarding Plagiarism. In case any abstract/ paper is found to be plagiarised, it will be summarily rejected.
Can a person merely attend the conference? Yes a person may attend the Conference free of cost.
How are the papers going to be evaluated and what is the selection criteria for the same? The abstracts and papers shall be evaluated on primarily three (3) components: conviction in argument being made, extent of research, clear references and fluency of language.
Can a submission be made on a topic not explicitly mentioned in the sub-themes of the Conference? Yes. However, the topic selected must be within the ambit of the broader theme (refer to the Brochure for the same).
Can be three (3) co- authors presenting a paper? Ordinarily, only 2 co-authors are permitted to present the paper. However, under extraordinary circumstances, three co-authors may be permitted by the Advisory Committee. Prior permission has to be sought be the participant(s) for the same.
Are high school students allowed to present the paper ? No, the minimum qualification of the participicants is enrollment in an undergraduate degree in India.
Is there a Dress Code for the Conference? All the participants presenting the paper must present in suitable formal attire.
Are teams consisting of students from different universities (“Inter-University Teams”) allowed to participate in the Conference ? Yes, papers by Inter-University teams are allowed for potential presentation in the Conference.
Will the presentations be recorded? Will participants have access to these recordings after the conference? The presentations will not be recorded, unless there is prior demand by the Resource Person for a specific session.
